In the height of the pandemic, Yasukane Matsumoto and Sanjay Rajasekhar founded Josys to revolutionize IT management. Josys empowers IT teams with 360° control over SaaS applications to better manage SaaS sprawl, automate manual IT tasks, and secure company data. Achieving rapid success, Josys raised $32M in Series A funding in September 2022, followed by an impressive $93M in Series B funding a year later to take its solution from Japan to the global market. Josys secured an additional $100M in October 2024 to further accelerate product development. Now with nearly 600 clients and 150 employees across the globe, Josys is driving efficiency, governance, and cost optimization for IT teams and organizations worldwide.

Meet our founder
Yasukane Matsumoto is the founder and CEO of Josys. He previously founded Raksul in 2009 after a stint at A.T. Kearney. Raksul, a leader in the sharing economy, specializes in online printing services and became Japan’s largest online printing provider. The company went public in 2018 with a billion dollar market cap. Yasukane’s leadership at Raksul earned him top honors in Forbes’ Entrepreneur Ranking in 2017, and the company was featured in a Harvard Business School case study in 2019. He was also selected as a Young Global Leader in the World Economic Forum. He has served as Chairman of Raksul since 2023.
