We are excited to announce the release of the new Access Requests & Approval Workflows, which streamlines and centralizes employee access requests, reviews, and approvals with custom workflow automation. This feature unlocks new Access Management capabilities for both Josys Admins and Employees:
For Employees:
Access to a Self-Service Employee Portal: Employees can now log into their own company-branded portal where they can view their assigned apps, submit requests to access new apps, or request a modification to their existing app licenses and roles, making new access requests clear and seamless.
Review & Respond to Access Requests: App owners, managers, and assigned stakeholders can approve or reject app requests directly within the Employee Portal, enforcing access policies and removing IT bottlenecks.
For Josys Admins:
Employee Portal Enablement: Admins can enable or disable portal access for employees and manage access based on “User Category” and “Status.”
Configure & Automate Approval Workflows: Admins can create app-level approval workflows based on app and employee attributes, then assign provisioning tasks to specific “Josys Admins” to fulfill requests.
IT Task Management: Josys Admins have a dashboard view into “My Tasks” where they can comment and close tasks once complete.
Global Access Request Tracking: IT admins can monitor all access requests submitted within the organization, enforcing compliance oversight.
Introducing Alert Settings:
New alert settings provide admins greater control to configuring Josys alerts and notifications. Key capabilities include:
Enable or disable alerts
Adjust alert frequency from weekly to daily or monthly
Configure Slack channel for sending alerts
Assign alerts to specific users instead of all IT admins
Adjusts to organizations’ time zones to deliver alerts during local morning hours
Improved email content and Slack notifications
Access Review Enhancements:
Multi-App Access Reviews:
Admins can send employees multiple app surveys in one request, simplifying and expediting access reviews.
Additionally, you can now save Access Review Surveys as drafts.
Slack Notification Support for Access Review:
IT admins can now choose Slack as a notification medium, in addition to email.
Employees will receive notifications on Slack stating they have an access review survey to complete.
Expanded SSO & MFA Monitoring:
We added 33 new additional apps for SSO & MFA monitoring, bringing our total supported apps to 37.
